State Street Plaza is launching an innovative physical marketplace space in downtown Oscoda, featuring micro-retail stores for vendors to operate from. This unique concept aims to revitalize the town center by boosting foot traffic and catalyzing economic growth. By offering affordable, turnkey spaces equipped with essential amenities, we’re eliminating traditional barriers to entry for aspiring entrepreneurs, allowing them to test their business concepts with reduced financial risk.
Our prime location at the intersection of Highway US-23 and River Road serves as the focal point of downtown, ensuring high visibility and accessibility. The marketplace will not only provide diverse shopping options but also feature a central park space for community gatherings. We’re targeting discerning customers who value unique, artisanal products and appreciate supporting local businesses.
Applications must be completed in full in order to be accepted for review. A determination will be made to choose vendors and ensure there are a variety of products for people to shop. If selected, an agreement will be sent for you to sign and a spot will be assigned to you. It is imperative that all vendors help promote the plaza.
Cancellation Policy
There aren’t any refunds for vendor cancellations. Vendors are prohibited to sublet their location to another vendor. If a vendor chooses to sublet their location, their lease will be terminated and a refund will not be received. Only the original vendor listed on the agreement are permitted to operate.
Utilities
Each chalet is provided a 20 amp service with three interior outlets and one exterior. Ample lighting will be provided inside each chalet with an exterior light adorned outside the door. Electricity is included in the seasonal cost.
Neither running water nor sewer are provided to the chalets.
